Terms & License
This page is a plain-language overview. The license document included with the purchased files and the terms shown on the BOOTH product page are the authoritative terms.
Standard use
The purchaser may use the product for:
- Their own VRChat avatars
- Monetized or non-monetized streams, videos, and images
- Other commercial use by the purchaser when it is not prohibited by the official terms
- Adult content when it is not prohibited by the applicable platform, avatar, or other asset terms
No separate Game & App license is required when the purchaser uses the product on their own VRChat avatar or only produces media such as streams, videos, and images.
Prohibited distribution
You may not:
- Share, redistribute, transfer, or resell the purchased files
- Distribute the UnityPackage, Unity project, shaders, scripts, or other reusable product data
- Provide original or modified product data in a form that lets another person reuse the tool
- Resell the product itself, or any part of it, as material for another product
Game & App Integration & Distribution License
A separate Game & App Integration & Distribution License is required when Real Sweat System functionality or data is included in a game or application and the completed build is distributed to third parties, whether the build is paid or free.
A completed build may contain only compiled or locked data required for execution. The UnityPackage, Unity project, original or modified shaders and scripts, and other reusable product data may not be distributed.
VRChat avatars are not completed builds
For clarity, the following are not “completed builds” of a game or application under the Game & App Integration & Distribution License:
- A VRChat avatar or avatar package distributed to another person, whether for payment or free of charge
- A service that uploads an avatar to another person’s VRChat account, whether provided for payment or free of charge
Accordingly, the Game & App Integration & Distribution License does not grant the right to include, bundle, transfer, or otherwise make Real Sweat System or any of its data available through any such avatar, avatar package, or upload service. This includes the Real Sweat System UnityPackage; any Unity project containing any part of Real Sweat System; its original or modified shaders, scripts, or materials; generated setup data; and any other original, modified, or reusable product data.
An avatar designed to be compatible with Real Sweat System may itself be sold or otherwise distributed, whether for payment or free of charge, only if the distributed files contain no Real Sweat System product files or generated setup data. Each end user who wishes to use Real Sweat System with that avatar must separately purchase their own copy and install that licensed copy into their own copy of the avatar in their own Unity project.
License holder and scope
- One individual: one license covers an unlimited number of titles and brand names operated solely by that individual. A separate license is not required for each brand name.
- One production group: a circle, sole proprietorship, or company with no more than five total members requires one license per organization. The same licensed organization may use it in an unlimited number of titles it produces.
- Separate production groups require separate licenses.
- Organizations with six or more members, affiliated companies, outside clients, or publisher use require separate consultation before purchase.
There are no additional royalties based on the number of titles or units sold. Check the BOOTH product page for the latest license price and sales terms.
Support scope
Standard support covers Real Sweat System installation and its intended VRChat-avatar features. Game or application development, custom shader modification, and implementation work specific to unrelated third-party tools are outside standard support.
